Sara Solis is the Founder, Head Baker, Food Scientist, Master Beekeeper—and proud mom—behind Bee Barn & Co. With over 20 years of baking experience, Sara is passionate about researching and testing methods that use safe, high-quality ingredients to create treat with non-gluten and dairy free ingredients treats that never compromise on flavor. What began as a way to care for her own family has grown into a mission to provide delicious, thoughtfully crafted foods that others can trust and truly enjoy.

Culinary Lead in Training & Pain in the Rear

Alex Solis is the Culinary Lead at Bee Barn & Co. and a dedicated culinary professional currently working toward earning his second culinary certificate. With experience in multiple kitchen environments, Alex brings strong discipline, attention to detail, and high standards to everything he prepares. Despite facing disabilities, he is diligent, persistent, and uncompromising when it comes to kitchen safety and quality. Alex enjoys exploring and experimenting with different foods, helping shape flavors that are both thoughtful and delicious.

Gardner in Training & Fixer Upper

Diego Solis is Bee Barn & Co.’s Gardener in Training and Fixer-Upper. Before a life-changing event, Diego loved repairing just about anything—from small engines to electronics and everything in between. He has always been deeply passionate about plants and enjoys the challenge of growing unique crops, including avocados in Arkansas. Although a worsening disability prevents him from doing many of the things he once could, Diego continues to contribute in every way he is able, guided by determination and curiosity. You’ll often find Diego tending the garden, bringing dedication and heart to everything he does.

Recreation Officer & Chaplin
 

Carlos Solis serves as Bee Barn & Co.’s Recreation Officer and Chaplain. A passionate tennis player, Carlos competed in college tennis at Hendrix University before choosing to dedicate two years to missionary service, spreading the gospel. He is currently serving in the Barranquilla, Colombia Mission. Though he is not physically present at the Bee Barn at this time, Carlos remains an important part of the family team—offering thoughtful insight, encouragement, and a steady moral compass that helps guide decisions with care and purpose.

Maintenance & Lead Food Tasteter

Levi Solis is Bee Barn & Co.’s Maintenance Guy and Official Food Taster. A fun-loving team member, Levi shares a love of tennis with his older brother and mom. He helps keep things running by maintaining equipment, assisting with garden upkeep, and helping care for the bees. While Levi has a speech disability, it does not stop him from fully participating in daily operations—especially when the culinary leads need assistance. His hands-on support and enthusiasm help keep everything moving smoothly.

Chief Operating Goof Off aka Dad

Saul Solis is the Head Operating Goof-Off at Bee Barn & Co., bringing over 30 years of experience in IT and more than 24 years of experience as a dad. He handles all tech-related operations and makes sure daily Bee Barn operations run smoothly—from website management and photo editing to problem-solving behind the scenes. When needed, Saul also steps in as skid-steer operator and land foreman. Known for keeping things moving through a mix of creativity, humor, and hands-on work, he may appear to be goofing off, but he’s always ready to switch gears and keep everything running professionally when it matters.
